With over sixty five (70) locations and a planned thirty (30) new sites, United Wireless is hiring leaders to help develop, manage and grow their distribution throughout the Michigan market. A United Wireless District Manager leads a district team in creating a hospitable environment for store associates and customers alike. The DM is responsible for attracting and building a high-performance team while identifying and leading key priorities necessary to drive the business forward. The DM is a role model for creating exceptional customer experiences and building enduring relationships both internally and externally. We are currently seeking a motivated Sales District Manager to join the team!
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Holds District team and self-accountable to all T-Mobile standards of performance and behavior.
- Identifies, develops and leverages existing talent to support the growth of the District.
- Drives future growth of GP Mobile through effective recruitment, selection and on-boarding of field management positions (Store Managers, Assistant Managers and Sales Reps) for company owned stores.
- Provide Partners with training to provide a quality on-boarding experience for all associates.
- Conducts a monthly New Hire Sales Training that effectively delivers the defined PCSMS Sales Behaviors.
- Maximizes store team performance through consistent and effective coaching and feedback. Drives the Company's performance management processes throughout the district.
- Conducts regular conference calls, trainings, and meetings to foster knowledge and best practice sharing.
- Conducts a minimum of 4 highly effective store visits per location per month, including visits in the evening and on weekends, and provides detailed recaps of each visit to store Manager/ASM and company leadership.
- Conduct brainstorming/training sessions internally
- Reporting/Organizing metrics to stores, T-Mobile and United Wireless
- Coaching Managers on sales tactics and customer service practices
- Delivering correct information, policies, and procedures in a timely manner to each location
- Field visits to ensure compliance & operational standards on a weekly basis for assigned locations
- Communicates effectively and professionally via phone and email with customers, partners, and co-workers.
- Assist with store events, setup, and backend maintenance
- Keep integrity of company to highest level and demand the same from each staff member
- Manager and employee scheduling of company owned stores
- Inventory and cash tracking for all locations including but not limited to company owned stores
- Implementing new guidelines for all locations
- Maximize profits in all aspects of the business
Skills & Qualifications:
- Demonstrated financial results in retail wireless sales AND multi-store management
- 3 years sales and sales management experience with a customer-focused, operationally excellent retail
- Business analysis skills along with in-depth retail experience
- A proven track-record in consultative sales and sales management experience in fields involving consumer technology, applications and content
- Talent for personnel training, coaching, and development
- Operational and financial performance management skills
- Basic computer know-how and familiarity with common business applications
- Ability to align with the company's culture and values, a visible leader as perceived by colleagues
- Ability to create a team atmosphere with internal staff, while achieving key objectives, accessible, committed, and responsive
- Ability to foster professional development of subordinates through coaching and feedback on results
Requirements:
- Track record of high personal performance
- Strong knowledge of common business applications (Web browsers, Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, etc.)
- Flexible schedule (willing to work late nights, weekends, & holidays)
- Travel Regularly
- Reliable transportation & willing to drive to multiple locations on a regular basis
- Ability to work 50 hours per week, including evenings, weekends and/or holidays
