Job Overview:
UWORK is looking for 4 reliable Packaging Operators for a local laboratory. Our client is a full-service Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) focusing on the development and manufacturing of animal health products.
The starting pay is $20 per hour, and the schedule is Monday-Friday 7 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. They are looking for someone available to work some overtime, as needed, starting at 5 a.m.
This is a long-term temp position to start, but temp-to-hire will be considered for the right fit.
Ideal candidates will have:
- legible handwriting
- great attention to detail
- ability to take instruction
- basic math skills
- mechanical aptitude
Packing Operators responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Set up, operate, and maintain cleanliness of packaging equipment/machinery
- Adhere to SOPs while performing packaging tasks
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and maintain packaging equipment
- Record and document all data by hand
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of packaging tasks
Candidates must:
- be able to stand for 8 hours
- be able to bend, scoop, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- wear steel toe shoes and long pants
- not wear makeup, jewelry, or nail/eyelash extensions to work
- adhere to client's attendance policy to maintain employment
Packaging/Assembly Line experience a plus but not required! Candidates who are new to the workforce are encouraged to apply!!
