Who we are looking for :
The best leaders… who also happen to be licensed Nurse Practitioners (NP, ARNP, FNP, APRN) and Physician Assistants (PA-C)
What winning looks like :
- Lead and develop collaborative multidisciplinary wound care teams
- Travel to scheduled locations weekly for wound rounds and house calls, in an assigned region
- Provide the highest quality skin and wound care services to patients
- Order, interpret, and evaluate laboratory and diagnostic studies to assess change to patients’ health care needs
- Perform bedside wound care skills including : wound assessment, dressing application, pressure relief, pain / odor control, and minor surgical procedures
- Track the progress of wound healing and document timely in UWH’s own wound care EMR
- Develop a treatment plan for skin and wound conditions based on the individual needs of each patient, and UWH’s Clinical Practice Guidelines
- Collaborate virtually with our medical leadership including board certified physicians and surgeons specializing in wound care, dermatology, podiatry, vascular surgery, and infectious disease
Skills required for winning :
Compensation Range : $134,000.00 - $148,000.00 DOE with bonus potential (1.0FTE range)
This position is classified as : Salary, Exempt; Full-Time 0.8FTE employment
Hours : Typical hours are Monday through Friday; 6 : 00am – 3 : 00pm, no nights, weekends, or call
