Hours: 4pm to 7pm
Primary Essential Responsibilities:
- Plating and Serving Meals: Serve resident meals at designated times, ensuring both hot and cold food and beverages are safely delivered.
- Table Set-Up and Clearing: Clear dishes, sets tables, stocks work- and dining areas appropriately for meal delivery.
- Dining Room Standards: Ensure each dining room is set to standards of care and service, providing an excellent dining experience for residents.
- Documentation and Sanitation: Document refrigerator, freezer, and food temperatures. Complete daily sanitation logs.
- Customer Service Skills: Demonstrate resident-centered customer service.
- Dishware Handling: Safely distribute, transport, set, and clean dishware, flatware, glasses, cups, and mugs.
- Menu and Special Diets: Read menus and follow special diet instructions and adhere to written & oral instructions.
- Kitchen Equipment Operation: Safely operate kitchen appliances such as the dishwasher, bench mixer, can opener, food processor, coffee maker, stove, convection oven, microwave oven, food blender, and steam table.
- Cleaning and Sanitization: Clean kitchen equipment, kitchen, and dining room.
- Food Handling Compliance: Handle and serve food in accordance with sanitary regulations, State Department of Health, County Department of Health, and Department of Public Welfare guidelines.
- Infection Control: Demonstrate safe and sanitary working habits that comply with infection control standards of care, policies, and procedures.
- Food Truck Transportation: Safely transport food trucks.
- Phone Etiquette: Answer the phone using proper etiquette.
- Garbage Disposal and Cleaning: Remove garbage from the kitchen and sweep and scrub the floor.
- Additional Duties: Perform other assigned tasks as needed.
- Training: Attend all required in-service training, department meetings, all team meetings, and quarterly all team meetings. Timely completes all required training.
- Customer Service & Compliance: Provide excellent customer service, maintain integrity, adhere to corporate compliance, and HIPAA policy.
- Time Management skills, quickly adapt to changes, be mentally alert.
