This position is full time Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00am - 4:30pm EST. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime. Our office is located at 1 Guthrie Square Sayre PA 18840.

We offer 4 weeks of on-the-job training. The hours of the training will be aligned with your schedule.

Primary Responsibilities: 

• Assist with the qualitative analysis of documentation and deficiency analysis within the medical records to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and facility.
• Monitor delinquent record and provide potential suspension notifications to clinicians. 
• Analyze records for completeness.
• Note missing elements and verify / enter deficiencies into Epic system.
• Assist providers with completion of the legal medical record. 
• Re - audit incomplete charts and update in Epic system. 
• Routinely access and safeguard confidential information. 
• Participate in department quality monitoring and improvement process. 
• Monitor transcription database and assist with correction process.
• Provide clerical support for coding team.
• Ability to multi - task and prioritize workload. 
• Other duties assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma / GED
• Must be 18 years of age OR older 
• Ability to work onsite full time at 1 Guthrie Square Sayre PA 18840
• Ability to work our normal business hours of 8:00am – 4:30pm EST

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1 year of healthcare customer service experience
• Knowledge of Medical terminology

Soft Skills:

• Excellent customer service skills
• Exceptional telephone etiquette and computer skills

The hourly range for this role is $16.00 to $28.85 per hour based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
