About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for treating a wide variety of mental health conditions that reflect the needs of our diverse patient population. Key responsibilities include conducting outpatient psychiatric evaluations, providing ongoing medication management, participating in enriching the training experience of graduate students, screening and assessing patients for common mental health and substance abuse disorders, and providing treatment for a variety of mental health conditions using evidence-based methods.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, candidates must possess a Master's degree in psychology, social work, or a related counseling field and a clear, active, and unrestricted license in the state of practice. Two or more years of professional social work/clinical experience post-Master's degree, experience providing direct psychotherapy services to individuals and families, and ability to work both independently and collaboratively with equal effectiveness are also preferred qualifications.
