Under general supervision from the VP, Business Development, the Business Development Manager will manage a team of Business Development Representatives, whose goal is to promote strategic growth for Genoa Healthcare pharmacy business by identifying leads and closing sales transactions. The Business Development Manager will also be responsible for sales activity in a defined territory in the same manner as Business Development Representatives.
This is a remote position and candidate is preferred to be near a major airport.
Major Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage team of Business Development Reps, tracking and monitoring sales activity and related responsibilities.
- Develop and provide training for Business Development Reps.
- Identify sources of leads, building pipeline in CRM tool for target market, as directed by VP, Business Development.
- Coordinate development of sales and marketing materials for target markets with Marketing Department.
- Maintain successful relations with customers and potential customers by interacting professionally and pro-actively.
- Promote the strategic growth for our pharmacies by identifying leads and closing transactions to grow our Clozapine management program, residential/group home consumer base, ACT/FACT teams, and other opportunities including hospital discharge planning and CMC sites.
- Attend conferences in an effort to maintain relationships with current customers, identify leads, and interact with potential customers.
- Act as a liaison between our company and the customer through the contracting and implementation process.
Educational or Skills Requirements:
- At least 5 years related sales experience
- Strong Customer Service skills
- Ability to establish and maintain relationships
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong presentation skills
- Pharmacy experience a plus
