Information Security Engineers develop and implement information security policies, standards and procedures to secure and protect data residing on systems. This role will involve improving data analytics and reporting for the Acquired Entity security programs.  This role will also require a self-motivated, team-oriented individual who will work with a team across the globe, but will report directly to a US-based manager.

You’ll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. 

Primary Responsibilities: 

• Responsible for automating and transforming data and reporting processes
• Building and maintaining dashboards across the Acquired Entity space
• Building in data quality measures and enabling teams across the enterprise through delivering data initiatives
• Leading and being part of key projects that will include both ad-hoc reporting needs and long-term end-to-end data automation (with pipelines built from source to storage to visualization)
• Communicating with key stakeholders to gather relevant information about requirements for various analytic needs

Required Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience coding in python (e.g. building scripts for process automation)
• 2 years of experience with data analytics, data reporting, and/or data engineering
• 1 years of experience in Power BI or other data visualization tools
• Proven ability to problem-solve and think critically

Preferred Qualification:

• Undergraduate degree in Technology or related field

The salary range for this role is $71,600 to $140,600 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
