We seek a Pharmacy Technician and Driver to support all functions of the Genoa mental health and specialty pharmacy primarily through dispensing medical prescriptions and performing necessary clerical duties while under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist.

In this role, you will spend your mornings working the pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician and the afternoon making deliveries with in a 40 miles radius. You will get paid mileage at .70/mile.

Pharmacy Location: Inside the doors of Center Associates at 3809 South Center Street, Suite 100, Marshalltown, IA 50158.

Hours:  Monday- Friday: 8:00am-4:30pm; Closed for Lunch: 12:30pm-1pm

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provides exceptional customer service to all consumers and members of the clinic staff
• Fills prescription orders and makes them available for verification under direct supervision of the registered pharmacist
• Orders, receives and stores incoming pharmacy supplies
• Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders
• Verifies medication stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records
• Works with the Pharmacist to assist in the pharmacy functions and keeping the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirements
• Performs various clerical duties relating to the department
• Communicates with solid professional verbal and written communication skills
• Load vehicles with medications/products for delivery
• Provide timely and accurate completion of deliveries in an efficient and courteous manner
• Verify receipt and provide signature for receipt of items delivered
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• Pharmacy Technician License in Iowa
• Valid Driver's License with reliable transportation 
• Willing or ability to make local travel up to 40% of your time
• Requires use of own vehicle to make deliveries, and proof of insurance
• Ability to read and follow maps and directions to customer locations

Preferred Qualifications:

• National Pharmacy Technician Certification
• Pharmacy and prescription data entry experience 
• Ability to administer immunizations

The hourly range for this role is $16.00 to $28.85 per hour based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
