The Senior Quality Analyst handles information about patient services and how those services are paid by investigating and pursuing recoveries through contact with various parties. The representative manages subrogation files, negotiates settlements, and ensures adherence to compliance policies.
This position is full-time (40 hours/week), Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 6:00am - 6:00pm local time. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime or weekends.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Primary focus is on auditing low and high complexity coding requests across various lines of business
- Identifying and submitting coding errors for resolution
- Assisting with team-related projects as directed by leadership
- Requires the use of only a few job aids and SOPs
- Extensive research not needed to audit/identify errors
- Types of tickets:
- Plan change
- Formulary change
- Client Pricing Update
- Client Pricing Non PDF2
- Add previously created price schedules and PDF2 programs
- Network Pricing update
- New Plan Build
- Plan change

Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma / GED OR equivalent work experience
- Must be 18 years of age OR older
- 1 years of customer service experience analyzing and solving customer problems
- 6 months of claims OR collections experience
- Experience working in the healthcare industry
- Proficiency with computer and Windows PC applications
- Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week), Monday - Friday, in any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 6:00am - 6:00pm local time, including the flexibility to work occasional overtime or weekends, based on the business need
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with subrogation
- Experience with negotiations
Telecommuting Requirements:
- Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
- Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
- Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service

The hourly range for this role is $19.86 to $38.85 per hour based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
