Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative discipline
- 3 years of experience in a health benefit financial/pricing role
- Familiarity with health plan analytic principles, practices, and techniques to interpret plan experience and utilization data
- Data manipulation and presentation skills, including MS Excel & PowerPoint
- Proven ability and desire to build relationships externally while collaborating with sales teams
- Actively pursuing actuarial exam track
- Experience working as Benefits Consultant for large and jumbo employers, preferably in the self-insured employer group market
- Proven solid understanding of health insurance and plan design concepts, preferably in the self-insured employer group market
- Proven solid presentation and communication skills, including a demonstrated ability to build relationships with HR leaders
- Proven ability to navigate new and emerging situations with efficient and accurate problem solving skills
