U.S. Aviation Services, a part of United Service Companies, has an immediate opening for a Duty Manager of Airplane Cabin Cleaners at the Philadelphia International Airport. Managerial experience is required.
The Duty Manager position reports to the local U.S. Aviation General Manager of Airport Operations and is the shift contact to our PHL airline partner, TSA, Customs, USDA, and other involved parties.
Key Performance Measures may include but are not limited to :
- Airline safety knowledge of practicing "Safety First" always
- Shift / schedule understanding
- Operational flow knowledge (hourly / daily activity)
- Policy adherence (all regulatory and customer-issued)
- Safety Performance
- Cabin Clean or Audit Scores
- Equipment Maintenance
- On-time Performance
- Properly Maintained Facility / Equipment / Staff
- Shift Hours Management
Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following :
Observing, developing and implementing shift improvements with fellow leaders regarding employee performance, attendance and complianceMonitoring supervisor coverage and shift schedules to ensure appropriate staffingEnsuring shift activities are properly directed and coordinatedLeading, coaching and mentoring supervisors to do the same with their employeesMaintaining open and consistent communication with all shift employeesAnswering and / or following up with email / inquiries in a timely fashionCommunicating with the next shift's Duty Manager regarding aircraft turnovers detailsEnsuring all vehicles are properly provisioned, clean and ready for the next shiftEnsuring observations are being conducted daily for safety concernsMonitoring and overseeing any issues as requested by leadership involving other agencies as needed, including but not limited to : TSA, FAA, emergency personnel, customers, and CBP.Job Requirements include but are not limited to :
Being at least 18 years of ageBeing able to speak, read and write in EnglishHaving a valid Driver's LicenseWorking 5 days on and 2 days offHaving excellent work ethicHaving basic computer literacyBeing physically fit to perform job duties including but not limited to standing, lifting, bending, pushing and pulling for extended periods of timeRepetitively handling up to 40 pounds in confined spaces and repetitivelyWorking comfortably in close quarters of aircraft cabinsWorking outside in all weather conditions with exposure to loud noises and fumesHaving flexibility for shift times as driven by airline arrival / departure timesCompleting within assigned time-frame and passing all training requirementsApplication Requirements include but are not limited to :
