About the Role:

We are seeking an exceptional AI-Driven UX Architect & Technical Product Designer to help us reimagine our SaaS platform as a next-generation, AI-powered solution. This role is ideal for someone who lives at the intersection of front-end development, AI innovation, systems thinking, and design excellence.

You will work closely with our AI team, who are developing advanced features on top of Neo4j, a vector database, and MySQL, and your job is to bring structure, clarity, and vision to what we're building—translating complex business logic and evolving AI capabilities into beautifully crafted front-end mockups and actionable design documentation.

This is not just a design job. It’s a critical role that requires deep technical fluency, a passion for artificial intelligence, and a keen sense of style and user experience.

What You’ll Do:

• Deeply understand our current business logic, workflows, and data models across Neo4j, MySQL, and our vector database layer.
• Collaborate with the AI team to grasp the capabilities and features they are developing.
• Work closely with leadership to determine what new business logic and user experiences we need in our AI-enhanced SaaS platform.
• Design and document the future-state of our solution—producing detailed wireframes, interactive mockups, user flows, and front-end specs.
• Create documentation that references database fields (Neo4j nodes/relationships, SQL schema) to ensure a smooth handoff to the front-end dev team.
• Serve as the bridge between our AI/data science team and our product/UI engineering team.
• Constantly raise the bar for design clarity, functionality, and elegance.

What We’re Looking For:

• A strong foundation in front-end development or front-end engineering (you know how things get built).
• Demonstrated passion for and understanding of artificial intelligence—especially how it integrates into user-facing products.
• A love of documentation and clarity—your specs make other developers smile.
• Experience with data-driven product design, especially where complex backend logic shapes the user interface.
• Experience or understanding of graph databases (Neo4j) and traditional relational databases (MySQL).
• Ability to translate fuzzy ideas into structured plans, sketches, and flows.
• Proficiency with tools like Figma, Sketch, Miro, or similar.
• A portfolio that demonstrates exceptional UX/UI design thinking—bonus if it includes AI-integrated features.

Nice to Have:

• Experience working with SaaS platforms in education, transportation, logistics, or civic tech.
• Experience documenting APIs, data models, or AI features for technical teams.
• Familiarity with vector search, embeddings, and other LLM-adjacent technologies.
