Position Summary :

The Warehouse Manager oversees all aspects of warehouse operations and support to our production division. This role is responsible for ensuring efficient inventory management, on-time order fulfillment, and maintaining a safe and organized environment. The Warehouse Manager leads and supports the production team to meet company objectives and deadlines, including operational efficiency, accuracy and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities :

Operational Management

Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory management, and order fulfillment.
Implement and enforce operational procedures to optimize workflow and maximize efficiency.
Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics to ensure timely delivery and movement of products throughout the warehouse including storage and shipment of finished products.
Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy using established systems and tools.

Leadership and Team Development

Lead, supervise, and mentor warehouse staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management.

Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Safety and Compliance

Ensure the warehouse complies with all safety, health, and regulatory standards.

Develop and enforce safety protocols to minimize workplace incidents and injuries.

Conduct routine safety inspections and ensure proper handling of materials and equipment.

Process Improvement

Evaluate and improve warehouse processes to increase efficiency and reduce errors.

Collaborate with other departments to streamline operations and enhance customer satisfaction.

Qualifications :

Education and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent required

3 years of experience in warehouse management of a similar role, preferably within the construction industry.

5 years of experience in warehouse setting preferred.

Valid state driver's license required. DOT license preferred.

Ability to clear security clearances for all necessary military base access for deliveries and pickups.

Forklift experience and certification required.

Skills and Competencies

Strong leadership and team-building skills.

Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Proficient in inventory management and Microsoft Office Suite.

Good time management skills.

Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a team.

Strong written and oral communication skills required.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in the warehouse, both indoors and outdoors, which may include working in tight spaces, high heat, poor light, and other warehouse hazards. The employee will be required to safely and correctly utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and appropriate work gear. The employee may work alone or as part of a team.

There is prolonged standing and walking, lifting, and carrying of materials and tools, repetitive use of tools, occasional crawling, working in tight spaces, working at various heights, use of stairs, use of scaffolding, climbing / descending ladders.
