Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Engineer to join our team at Unitek Technical Services Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing and validating internal supplier issues, determining causes and responsibilities, notifying suppliers, and initiating containment procedures.
Main Responsibilities:
- Analyze and validate reported internal supplier issues
- Determine cause and responsibility by reviewing drawings or specifications and measuring parts
- Notify suppliers, initiate containment, update internal systems, and generate/corrective follow-up actions
- Perform virtual and onsite supplier audits as needed
- Address products' paperwork issues with suppliers and maintain systems
- Maintain and generate reports/charts for metrics using data mining from various support systems
- Achieve accuracy, attention to detail, and timely turnaround in all internal and external communication
