POSITION DESCRIPTION
JOB SUMMARY
Achieves sales profitability, growth, and account penetration within an assigned territory and market segment by effectively selling the company’s products and related services. Personally contacts and secures new business and existing Agent accounts.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
• Researches sources for developing prospective customers and gathers information to determine their potential.
• Expedites the resolution of Agent problems and complaints.
• Identifies advantages and compares the organization’s products and services.
• Supplies management with oral and written reports on Agent needs, problems, and interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
• Monitors advertising and promotional trends by reading pertinent literature and consulting with marketing and technical service areas.
• Maintains relationships with Agents by providing support, information, and guidance, researching and recommending new opportunities, and recommending profit and service improvements.
• Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
• Opens customer accounts by processing applications.
• Provides training to new Agents for the Remittances System.
• Provides Antimony Laundry Program training for new and existing Agents.
• Creates or modifies rate groups, fees, and commissions for new or existing Agents.
• Coordinates status changes for Agents.
• Processes bank account changes and deposit slip requests.
• Provides assistance and support to the collections department.
• Provides assistance and support to the backup call center in case of contingency.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Prepares supporting documents for additional payments and materials.
• Provides assistance and support to the Sales Operations Manager in dealing with counterparties.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must possess at least two years of experience in sales or customer service.
Possession of a post-secondary degree (High School Diploma).
Demonstrated aptitude for problem-solving with the ability to determine solutions for customers.
Must be results-oriented and able to work both independently and within a team environment.
Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in Spanish.
Must possess good verbal and written communication skills in English.
SKILLS
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite applications and contact management software.
Proficiency in English and Spanish is required for this position.
Valid driver’s license.
Client relationship management, creativity, sales planning, motivation for sales, energy level, and negotiation skills.
