Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit, including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for patients and their families.
- Develop and maintain effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless transitions of care.
- Participate in on-call shifts and be available to provide emergency coverage as needed.
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Colorado.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Labor and Delivery or a related specialty.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
