We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team on a travel assignment in Carbondale, Illinois.
About the Job
This is a 13-week day shift position that requires an Allied Health Professional with expertise in MRI Technology. As a Travel MRI Tech, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and operating medical equipment to produce diagnostic images.
Responsibilities
- Conduct MRI procedures according to established protocols and guidelines
- Prepare patients for exams by explaining procedures and positioning them correctly
- Operate MRI equipment safely and efficiently
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses
- Maintain accurate records and reports of patient information
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
- Current certification as an MRI Technologist (ARRT, MRI)
- Experience working with MRI equipment and software
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
