Job Description
Uniti Med is hiring a Travel CT Technologist to join our team on a temporary basis. As a Travel CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating computed tomography (CT) scanners to produce high-quality images of patients' internal structures. This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images of patients' internal structures
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including positioning and explaining the process
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient imaging procedures
Requirements
To be considered for this position, applicants must have a valid certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiologic and Imaging Sciences (RT(R)), preferably with experience working with CT scanners. A strong understanding of radiation safety protocols and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care are essential. Experience working in a fast-paced hospital environment and proficiency in electronic medical records systems are also preferred.
