Job Description
As a Travel First Assist RN, you will be responsible for assisting surgeons during surgical procedures, providing exceptional patient care, and working collaboratively with the healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist surgeons during surgical procedures, including preparing patients, setting up equipment, and maintaining a sterile environment.
- Provide direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and documenting patient information.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care, including communicating with physicians, nurses, and other staff members.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information, including medical histories, treatment plans, and test results.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A valid RN license and current BLS certification.
- 1 year of experience as a First Assist RN, preferably in a hospital or surgical setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- The ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with discretion.
