About the Role
The CT Technologist will be responsible for operating computed tomography scanners to produce high-quality images of patients' bodies. They will also be responsible for preparing patients for imaging procedures, maintaining equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate computed tomography scanners to produce high-quality images of patients' bodies
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including positioning and comforting them during exams
- Maintain equipment, including performing routine maintenance tasks and troubleshooting issues
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, including radiation safety and infection control
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
- ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT)
- Experience working in a hospital setting, preferably in radiology or imaging services
