We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Systems Specialist to join our team at Unitil Service Corporation. As an Electrical Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for performing substation construction and maintenance activities, ensuring the safe and reliable operation of electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform inspections and maintenance on substation equipment and distribution equipment.
- Assist with the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of underground systems and equipment.
- Maintain and troubleshoot the operational integrity of SCADA equipment, communication systems, and wiring to controlled devices.
- Provide input and suggestions for annual Capital and O&M budgets.
Requirements:
- Associate of Science Degree in Electrical/Electronic Technology or equivalent related educational background.
- Ability to use hand tools and electrical testing equipment.
- Working knowledge of electrical equipment, protection & control systems, and DC systems associated with the power delivery system.
- Must be comfortable working with energized conductors.
