What are the responsibilities and job description for the Deposit Operations Representative position at Unitus Community Credit Union?

Primary Duties:
- Primary responsibilities are the accurate and timely processing of all member payments and deposits received via mail, remote deposit capture, and ATM/VTM
- Deposit differences, Member ATM/VTM adjustments, Visa DPS balancing, DDN GL balancing and Loomis posting.
- Also handles a variety of clerical activities such as receiving and researching return mail, applying critical thinking to assist in detecting fraud on certain transactions
- Responding to a variety of research and/or verification requests as needed.
As an ideal candidate, you will have:
- High School or equivalent certificate
- Must have a minimum of one year of work experience in a clerical or customer service role that includes experience with performing accurately, organizing information, and using a computer system for data entry and inquiry
- PC Skills (Microsoft Office Suite), with the ability to learn new software
- Excellent communication skills including effective listening, speaking, and problem-solving skills.
- Must have the ability to work in a team and independently with minimum supervision, while exercising good judgement, initiative, and tact in dealing with members, supervisors, and staff
- Ability to multitask and work with numbers while maintaining attention to detail
- Ability to resolve problems using available resources and technology
- Ability to maintain privacy and confidentiality
