Unity Building Security is currently seeking professional experienced FDNY Fire Life Safety Directors. This is a full-time position, tours are Mon-Friday 4PM-12M Monday - Friday. The primary mission of the Fire Life Safety Directors is to protect life and property through the implementation of the building's fire safety plan including the management of the Fire Command Station. The successful Fire Life Safety Director candidates is required to act as a liaison to the FDNY during emergencies and Building Management, Monitoring lobby traffic during tour. Starting hourly pay rate is $21.00 to $24.00 based on experience
Job Skills / Requirements
- Applicants Must have NYS Security Guard License.
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- FDNY CoF F89 or Z89 (FLSD)
- Must possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the public in a professional and effective manner; must be able to use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines.
- Must be able to read and understand all operating procedures and instructions.
- As a condition of continued employment, employee must always maintain current active status of all required Licenses, and must always carry the license while on duty
- Must display exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Intermediate computer skills to utilize innovative, wireless technology at client site
- Control Fire Command Station.
