UCG is seeking 3 experienced Direct Service Professionals (DSPs) to care for an individual in a home setting that has disabilities. This client will occasionally attend a workshop program from 9am-2pm and arrive home at 3pm for 3 days a week. They have an independent provider who usually picks up the other 2 days or if the client does not want to attend workshop. There has been a history of the IP not being able to pick up those shifts at times, so having staff that is flexible to pick up those hours if needed is beneficial!
We are looking for 2 Full time & 1 Part Time DSP. 2nd shift DSP-Full Time (3pm-12am), 3rd shift DSP-Full Time (12am-9am), or Part Time that can work any hours. Priority is given to individuals who have open availability and willingness to pick up other shifts when available.
Weekends are involved and the weekend scheduled will most likely be rotation, and 12 hour shifts of 9-9; Client is a round-the-clock care client.
Responsibilities may include:
- Following all proper protocols for client personal care.
- Assisting in maintaining consistency in the provisions of supports and services.
- Accurately completing all on-site documentation; maintain current case notes and reports of Individuals progress and how it relates to their ISP.
- Ensuring cleanliness and upkeep of client homes.
- Ensure client is having 2 outings per month into the community.
Requirements for this position include:
- At least 1 year experience in DODD field
- At least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or GED.
- CPR/First Aid Certified
- DODD DSP Annual Training (mylearning.dodd.ohio.gov)
- Must be able to pass background check
- Driver's License
