What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Receptionist position at Unity Chiropractic and Wellness Center?
We are looking for a Receptionist to assist in managing the front desk and to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our company. You will need to greet all incoming patients and get them checked in. You will also need to answer the phone in a friendly and professional manner.
Our Receptionist’s duties include offering support to all providers at our office. You will help manage the flow of the clinic. The receptionist lets the provider know when a new patient arrives, helps move patients to different rooms, and alerts providers if they are running behind schedule. You will also need to take payment and give receipts to patients after their visits. Multitasking and stress management skills are essential for this position. We do see babies and small children in our office frequently so it's important to feel comfortable holding babies and playing with children while they wait for their appointment. Ultimately, a Receptionist’s duties and responsibilities are to ensure the front desk welcomes guests positively, and executes all administrative tasks to the highest quality standards.
