What are the responsibilities and job description for the Resp Therapist Vasc Tech Reg, PRN position at Unity Health White County?
1. Education: Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program or appropriate training in vascular technology and sonography.
2. Training and Experience: Registered or registry eligible per ARDMS or CCI requirements. BLS required. ACLS preferred but not required.
3. Job Knowledge: Delivers appropriate care to patients from neonatal through geriatrics with regards to age specific considerations Must be able to communicate effectively with physicians, associates, patients and visitors.
4. Safety Sensitive: YES

DESCRIPTION:
A registered or registry eligible sonographer who is responsible for vascular diagnostic exams and ultrasounds in any area of the hospital including special care units. May be assigned supervisory responsibilities when adequately prepared.
Must participate in rotating call schedule for nights, weekends, and holidays.
Must be willing to learn echocardiogram procedures as required.
