About the Role:
As a Cardiac Sonographer, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality echocardiography services to patients. Working closely with medical providers and the cardiology team, you'll ensure the best possible patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform echocardiograms as ordered by physicians, prioritizing trauma and critically ill patients.
- Maintain echocardiography services in accordance with American Society of Echocardiography and state/federal standards.
- Ensure daily technical operations of the echocardiography lab.
- Work alongside the Medical Director and clinical staff to deliver quality patient care.
- Use proper ultrasound techniques for optimal imaging quality.
- Position and instruct patients for procedures.
- Maintain equipment, supplies, and required documentation.
- Participate in ongoing professional education and cardiology department meetings.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience in echocardiography preferred.
- Strong technical skills with ultrasound equipment.
- Excellent patient care and communication abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a clinical setting.
