1. Education: Baccalaureate Degree in Development, Business, Communication, Public Relations, Marketing or related field.
2. Training and Experience: CFRE credentials and five or more years of experience in philanthropy; preferably in healthcare
3. Job Knowledge: Understanding of cultivating relationships for philanthropic purposes. Ability to create programs that heighten the visibility of the foundation and lead to increase the base of donors. Functioning as an effective member of multidisciplinary teams. Strong verbal & written communication skills, knowledge of community relations and awareness of other fundraising campaigns.

DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for all aspects of the philanthropy program for the foundation. The Director represents the foundation internally and externally while sustaining a personal portfolio and advancing System Objectives. The Director drives the philanthropic strategy for the system while working closely with the Foundation Board of Directors, fundraising volunteers, and administration. The candidate needs to exhibit abilities to create new programs, set priorities, organize workload, plan and handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and evaluate and report on progress. In addition to driving solicitations, the candidate is expected to manage campaign volunteers to support the advancement of fundraising campaigns.
