Dosimetrist – Radiation Oncology
Location: Clovis, California
3-Month Contract | (40 hours/week)

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Dosimetrist for a 3-month contract position in our Radiation Oncology department. This role involves working closely with physicians, therapists, and medical physicists to prepare radiation treatment plans as approved by a Radiation Oncologist. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art equipment, including Varian TrueBeams, Elekta Infinity, and CyberKnife.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and optimize radiation treatment plans in collaboration with Radiation Oncologists, therapists, and medical physicists.
• Assist with special procedures using advanced technologies like Varian TrueBeams with AlignRT, Elekta Infinity, and CyberKnife.
• Ensure accurate and effective treatment planning for patients.
• Maintain all relevant documentation and patient records as required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Science or a related field.
• Graduate from an accredited Medical Dosimetry Program.
• Certified Medical Dosimetrist (CMD).
• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in dosimetry.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
• Ability to provide two professional references.

Shift Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 08:00 AM to 5:30 PM (10-hour shifts, 4 days a week).

Compensation:

• Hourly rate: $115.97 (includes a taxable component of $98.05/hr, plus a per diem of $17.92/hr).
