Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Local Medical Technician to join our healthcare team. As a Local Medical Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing patient care and ensuring smooth daily operations within our medical facility. You will work closely with medical professionals to assist in diagnostic procedures, manage medical equipment, and ensure the highest standards of patient safety and care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine diagnostic tests and laboratory procedures, ensuring accuracy and timely results.
- Assist physicians and healthcare providers in medical examinations and treatments.
- Maintain and sterilize medical equipment and instruments.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Assist in administering medications, injections, and other treatments as directed by healthcare providers.
- Ensure proper documentation of patient records, including test results and treatment protocols.
- Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Provide compassionate and professional patient care, addressing patient concerns and providing support as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the medical facility or assigned area.
- Perform any other duties as required to support the medical team and improve patient outcomes.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; medical or technical certification preferred (e.g., Medical Assistant, Medical Laboratory Technician, or related).
- Proven experience as a Medical Technician or similar role in a healthcare setting.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, diagnostic tests, and healthcare procedures.
- Ability to operate and maintain medical equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact effectively with patients and healthcare teams.
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.
- Compassionate and patient-focused attitude.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Medical Technology or similar medical field.
