What are the responsibilities and job description for the Materials Receiving Technician, Full Time position at Unity Health?
1. Education: High School education or its equivalent is required.
2. Training and Experience: Experience with perpetual inventory is desirable. Experience with computer, typing, and 10-key calculator.
3. Job Knowledge: Must know general hospital regulations and reporting requirements as obtained through one year of on-the-job training.

DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for the receipt, storage and distribution of all equipment and supplies delivered to the Materials Management Department by delivering vendors. Responsible for all security controls in Materials Management Area. Would be dedicated for MM of receiving all products through our EMR system, Inventory Tracking and decrementing of inventory up to and including getting problem solving charging issues from the floor. Multitasking all Materials request, while maintains the storeroom up to standards and handles all Floor request to send to buyer at main facility. Responsible for communication for their facility to all departments on behalf of Unity Health Materials Management.
