Job Description:

We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Medical Physicist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective delivery of radiation in diagnostic imaging and radiation therapy. This role involves equipment calibration, quality assurance, treatment planning support, and compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform quality assurance testing on radiation therapy and imaging equipment.
• Support treatment planning by collaborating with radiation oncologists and dosimetrists.
• Ensure compliance with radiation safety regulations and protocols.
• Calibrate and maintain radiation-producing equipment.
• Participate in clinical research and development of new techniques.
• Educate staff on radiation safety and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Master’s or PhD in Medical Physics or related field.
• Certification by the American Board of Radiology (ABR) or equivalent (or eligibility).
• Strong understanding of radiation physics, dosimetry, and safety standards.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Requirements:

• Master’s or Doctoral Program Graduate in Medical Radiation Physics.
• Certification – Board Certified, or eligible, in either Therapeutic Radiologic Physics, or Radiological Physics by the American Board of Radiology.
• Basic Life Support
• Experience not required.
