Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated MRI Technologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans on patients, ensuring high-quality images for diagnostic evaluation. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology, as well as proficiency in aseptic techniques and medical imaging protocols. The MRI Technologist will work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities
- Perform MRI scans according to established protocols and procedures to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
- Conduct patient assessments prior to imaging procedures, including reviewing medical history and explaining the MRI process to patients.
- Ensure patient safety by adhering to all safety protocols and aseptic techniques during imaging procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of patient information, scan results, and any adverse reactions or complications.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other medical staff to discuss findings and ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Stay updated on advancements in MRI technology and techniques to enhance imaging quality and efficiency.
- Assist in maintaining MRI equipment, ensuring it is clean, calibrated, and functioning properly.
Experience
- Proven experience in diagnostic imaging or a related field is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, physiology knowledge, and CT scan procedures.
- Familiarity with sonography principles is a plus.
- Ability to perform diagnostic evaluations effectively while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare team members.

Pay: $68.79 per hour
