Job Title: Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA)
Location: St. Albans ,VT 05478
Job Type: Onsite,14weeks contract
Salary: $30/hr.
Guaranteed Hours : 38 hours per week
Shift timings : Day shift /7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) to join our healthcare team. The LNA will provide direct patient care and assist with daily activities to ensure the well-being and comfort of patients. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
- Monitor patient vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiration) and report any changes to the nursing team.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning of patients.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients.
- Help maintain patient hygiene, including toileting and incontinence care.
- Ensure patient rooms are clean, organized, and comfortable.
- Assist with patient documentation and maintain accurate records.
- Follow all safety protocols and infection control procedures.
- Work closely with registered nurses and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care.
- Respond to patient call lights and needs promptly and efficiently.
Qualifications:
- Current LNA certification in VT
- Proven experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in long-term care, rehabilitation, or hospital settings.
- Compassionate, patient, and able to work with individuals of varying medical conditions and needs.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with a team.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Must be able to lift and move patients as required.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
