DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for safe and timely transportation of patients. Open, accurate and responsive communication. Written required data collection. Demonstration of ethical and professional conduct. Flexibility to work overtime as needed as well as on-call duty and disaster work as required by workload and/or unforeseen circumstances. Must display a good understanding of age-related issues of Neonate, Infant, Child, Adolescence, Adult and Geriatric.
Physical Effort: Worker must adjust to performing routine, repetitive tasks without specific supervision. Capability to be independently mobile. Ability to manage community, visitors and patients’ needs the ability to lift 50 lbs. without assistance, stand, reach, and stoop and bend while maintaining a good mechanical body position. Maybe exposed to communicable diseases and/or blood and body fluids.
