Job Title: ICU Registered Nurse (RN) - Traveler Position

Shift Timings:

• 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM (12-hour shifts)
• 3 days per week (Monday to Friday)
• Total of 36 hours per week

Location: Stafford Springs, CT (Onsite)

Compensation:

• Hourly Rate: $53.72/hr.
• Reward Payment Period: Monthly

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced ICU Registered Nurse (RN) for a traveler position. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in an ICU setting and be ready to provide critical care to acutely or critically ill patients. As part of a dynamic healthcare team, the nurse will provide direct patient care, oversee nursing personnel, and support unit operations. Flexibility to float to other units such as Medical/Surgical or Telemetry as needed is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care to acutely or critically ill patients within the ICU.
• Implement and follow through on medical care plans.
• Supervise and guide nursing staff on the unit.
• Maintain the standard activities of the unit in the absence of the Head Nurse.
• Float to Med/Surg or Telemetry units as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Must be willing to float between departments as needed.

Work Schedule:

• 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)
• Monday to Friday

Compensation & Benefits:

• Hourly Pay Rate: $53.72/hr.
• Reward payment distributed monthly.
