Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for a Traveler ICU RN position. This role requires the ability to provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients within the ICU, in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience working in an ICU, preferably in a Level 1 trauma center, and must hold both BLS and ACLS certifications. As a Traveler ICU RN, you will float per critical care RN guidelines to different units as required.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to acutely or critically ill patients within an assigned unit or clinic.
- Implement and manage medical care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Supervise and direct nursing personnel assigned to the unit, ensuring quality care.
- Maintain unit operations in the absence of the Head Nurse, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow.
- Perform other related duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required.
- Certifications: BLS and ACLS required.
- Experience in a Level 1 trauma center is preferred.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts (Monday to Friday, 07:00 AM to 07:30 PM).
- Must be flexible to float per ICU RN guidelines.
