Job Title: RN Operating Room
Department: Operating Room
Shift Timings: Monday to Friday, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM (3 Days/12-Hour Shifts)
Hours per Week: 36 Hours
Compensation:
- Pay Rate: $68.79/hr.
Job Type: Contract (Pay-as-you-go)

Responsibilities:
- Provide perioperative care for surgical patients in recovery, procedure, and operating rooms.
- Stock operating rooms with sterile surgical equipment, linens, and supplies.
- Develop and implement nursing care plans for surgical patients.
- Prepare patients for surgery by cleaning and disinfecting areas to be operated on.
- Assist surgeons during surgical procedures.
- Apply sterile techniques when handling medical instruments and equipment before, during, and after surgery.
- Collaborate with surgical teams and other medical professionals regarding patient medications and post-surgery care.
- Update patient files and medical records.
- Assist with the ordering, maintenance, and safe storage of surgical equipment and supplies.
- Provide patients with post-surgery care instructions and answer any related questions.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in an Operating Room or LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum) setting.
- Skills:
- Registered Nurse (RN) with current licensure.
- Experience in operating room procedures and patient care.
- Ability to assist in surgeries and provide post-operative care.
Certifications:
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Certification in perioperative nursing (CNOR).
- Sterile processing and surgical instrument handling knowledge.
- CPR and First Aid certifications.
Additional Notes:
- Weekends included in the schedule as per operational needs.
- Applicants must be comfortable with a 36-hour weekly schedule across 3 shifts.
- Candidates must meet the 36-hour work requirement before reward eligibility.
