Unity Health is seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RN) for PCU (Progressive Care Unit) positions in Springfield, MA. These are 3 contractor positions offering a 36-hour workweek, on a night shift schedule (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, Monday to Friday). Responsibilities:
- Implement and monitor patient care plans in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU).
- Continuously assess, record, and communicate patient conditions.
- Serve as the primary coordinator for multidisciplinary team efforts, ensuring well-coordinated patient care.
- Execute physician and nursing orders accurately and efficiently.
- Support patient discharge planning, collaborating with the healthcare team.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience, preferably in a PCU or similar unit.
- Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Massachusetts.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, ever-changing healthcare environment.
