Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Full-Time Wound Nurse to join our team in Pembroke, NC. In this role, you will be responsible for providing specialized wound care and management to patients. Your expertise will be essential in promoting healing and improving patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and treat patients with various wound types.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and families on wound care and prevention.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reports of patient progress.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives related to wound care.
Qualifications:
- Active nursing license in North Carolina.
- Previous experience in wound care preferred.
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Additional Information:
- On-call duty required once per month from Friday at 5 PM until Monday at 8 AM.
- Full-time position with a guarantee of 40 hours per week.
