Job Description: We are seeking an exceptional Sonographer to join our patient-centered Ultrasound Team at a world-class academic medical center in Burlington, VT. As part of our dedicated team, you’ll help provide excellent patient experiences and benefit from ample career growth opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and complex diagnostic ultrasound imaging procedures using high-frequency sound waves.
- Adjust the ultrasound machine and identify "windows" to transmit undistorted ultrasound beams, despite obstructions such as lung, bowel gas, and bone.
- Diagnose pathology and customize exams based on patient needs.
- Perform diagnostic ultrasounds and other required modalities independently, under physician supervision, and collaborate with peers as appropriate.
- Work within the ultrasound department to provide essential imaging services.
Schedule:
- 9:00 PM – 7:00 AM on Sundays
- 8:00 PM – 6:00 AM Monday through Wednesday
- Call may be assigned in the future based on business needs.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience as a Sonographer.
- Strong diagnostic knowledge and technical skills in ultrasound imaging.
- Ability to customize exams to each patient’s specific needs.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
