Summary:
Under direct supervision of the MIS/Communication Director. Individual will be responsible for supporting the CPSI Health information system. Will work closely with CPSI support staff to resolve issues that may arise from day to day. Will be responsible for building databases and preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for various departments in the hospital. Will assist Management Information System/Communications Support Technicians as needed. Responsible for one shift, five days per week. Incumbent is subject to overtime, on-call duty and call back as required by the hospital.
Education: A Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in computer science or related field.
Experience: Minimum of five years experience with computer operations/operating systems. 2-4 years experience of Unix system administration preferred.
