Location: St Johnsbury ,VT
Employment Type: contract 14weeks
Schedule: day shift
shift timings :7am to 7:30 PM/32hours per week
Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will provide essential care and support to patients under the supervision of registered nurses and other healthcare professionals. Your contributions will help ensure the comfort, dignity, and well-being of our patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Support mobility by helping patients transfer, ambulate, or use mobility aids.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by changing bed linens, sanitizing equipment, and ensuring hygiene standards are met.
- Provide emotional support to patients and families, fostering a caring and respectful environment.
- Communicate patient concerns and observations promptly to nursing staff.
- Adhere to all facility policies, procedures, and healthcare regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid LNA certification in VT.
- Current CPR/BLS certification (preferred).
- Prior experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting (preferred but not required).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to patient needs promptly.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $28.00 per hour
