Salary Range: $48,600.00 - $72,000.00
Shift Options:
Option 1:
- 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday)
- On-call: 1 day a week, 1 weekend a month
Option 2:
- 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday)
- On-call: 1 day a week, 1 weekend a month
Position Overview:
Join our dedicated team as an Ultrasound Technician in Lexington, KY, and take the next step in your career. You will provide exceptional patient care while utilizing advanced imaging modalities to perform diagnostic ultrasound exams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Care: Receive patients, explain procedures, and ensure their comfort throughout the imaging process.
- Imaging Services: Perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures in line with established standards and practices.
- Equipment Management: Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring it is in optimal working condition.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate patient records, assist with scheduling, and facilitate smooth patient flow in the imaging department.
- Assistance in Procedures: Support radiologists during interventional procedures (e.g., paracentesis, needle aspirations/biopsies) as required.
Qualifications:
- Certification in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) preferred.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to patient care.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
