We have an immediate opening for an experienced Full -Time Accounts Payable Specialist in our administration office. This position performs a wide variety of AP duties to support the Finance Department. Duties include managing invoices, obtaining approvals and coding, analyzing accounts payable transactions, performing weekly payment runs, ensures credits are received and entered into the system, works with vendors and reconciles month end statements, maintains accurate financial records, supports month/year end closing and assists with audits, etc.
Candidates MUST HAVE a strong working knowledge of accounts payable functions, with at least two years of experience, excellent customer service skills, computer skills, and be a self-starter, highly organized and detail oriented. Experience in a fast-paced medical office/hospital environment is preferred. Must be able to work cooperatively with all staff and vendors.
