UNITY PHYSICIANS’ HOSPITAL is a 29-bed medical and surgical hospital at 4455 Edison Lakes Parkway, Mishawaka Indiana. We are the only hospital in the Michiana Area that has once again for 2023 earned the CMS 5-Star Rating in Patient Experience and we’re in the Top 100 by the Women’s Choice Award in Patient Experience. We are currently seeking experienced healthcare SCHEDULERS, preferably with infusion/chemotherapy background. This position requires experience scheduling patient appointments by assuring the prior authorization has been confirmed, assessing appointment times available, equipment, and staff availability. Must be able to identify scheduling conflicts and adjust as needed.
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office products and EMR scheduling software preferred. Excellent communication skills required, both written and verbal, working collaboratively with members of the health care team, staff, patients, and visitors.
