UNITY PHYSICIANS' HOSPITAL is a 29-bed, physician-owned surgical hospital that stands above the rest due to the individualized attention that we give to each and every patient that we serve. We work as a team to maintain our 5-star CMS rating in patient experience.
We have an immediate opening for an experienced Full -Time Patient Access Representative, working in the hospital business registration office. This position performs a wide variety of duties to support the team including reception, greeting patients, registering, insurance authorizations, and other various duties. Monday through Friday, no nights, weekends, or holidays.
Experienced candidates MUST HAVE excellent customer service skills, computer skills, and highly detail oriented, be familiar with EMR and medical terminology, general ICD-10 knowledge, and Microsoft Office. Experience in a fast paced, busy hospital or medical office environment is strongly preferred. Must be able to work cooperatively with staff, physicians, patients and their family and friends.
