Your Role & Responsibilities
As the Chairperson of the High School Mathematics Department, you will:
- Lead high-quality math instruction, ensuring rigorous, engaging, and standards-aligned teaching.
- Develop and manage curriculum to ensure spiraled, college-preparatory coursework.
- Manage and support a team of teachers, fostering growth through coaching and professional development.
- Manage student data systems to drive instructional improvements and enhance student achievement.
- Ensure strong classroom management and collaborate with school leaders to support student success.
Who We're Looking For
- At least two years of instructional leadership experience.
- A proven track record of student growth and mastery in mathematics.
- Expertise in curriculum development and assessment design.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and adult management skills.
