What are the responsibilities and job description for the Family Office Bookkeeper position at Unity Search Group?
We are working with a Real Estate client in North Dallas, who is searching for a Family Office Bookkeeper. This position is going to be an in-office role. The primary function is going to be handling some of the personal and business finances of the main principles as well as some investors. If you have previous family office experience, then there could be the option for this to be a part-time or 30-hour a week role.
Some of the core responsibilities are :
- Basic Bookkeeping for low / mid-volume entities
- Coordinate and track funding to various investment initiatives
- Valuation and analysis of outside investments and operating companies
- Preparation of partnership financials
- Completing monthly / quarterly equity distributions to partners
- Bank and Treasury Management services
- Income tax coordination with outside CPA firm
A degree in accounting or finance is necessary unless there is enough experience to warrant otherwise. The compensation will be completely based on the appropriate level of experience. This could range from $35 / hr to $45 / hr (equal to $70k to $90k).
